Calling for Proposals for the 5th African Association Summit 2024 (AAS5)

The African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE) is announcing the upcoming 2024 AfSAE Africa Associations Summit (AAS5). This year’s summit will take place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on September 17-18, 2024. We invite you to participate by submitting your proposal to lead an education session. Key Details: •Date: September 17-19, 2024 •Location: Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC), Dar es Salaam, Tanzania •Co-Sponsors: Arusha International Convention Center (AICC) and South Africa National Convention Bureau (SANCB) Call for Proposals: AfSAE is seeking education proposals that will advance the profession in Africa. If you have fresh ideas and insights related to association management, we encourage you to submit a proposal. Here are the key criteria for proposals: 1.Keynote presentations: We're seeking proposals for engaging presentations on Innovation and Artificial Intelligence in associations. 2.Exploring Fresh Solutions: Proposals should encourage attendees to explore innovative solutions in association management. 3.Relevant Topics: Focus on topics that are essential to associations and their growth. 4.Evidence-Backed Business Cases: Provide compelling business cases supported by research or data-driven evidence. 5.Forward-Thinking Approach: Illustrate forward thinking in the field of association management. 6.Real-Life Case Studies: Demonstrate the relevance of lessons through real-life case studies. Uganda Association Training Workshop

In a strategic partnership, the African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE), in collaboration with the Uganda Tourism Board through the Uganda Convention Bureau, hosted the inaugural Uganda Association Management & MICE Training Workshop from 4 to 8 December 2023 at the Protea Hotel by Marriott Kampala Skyz.

In partnership with the Arusha International Convention Centre (AICC) and the Julius Nyerere International Convention Center (JNICC), AfSAE hosted the Second Tanzania Associations & MICE Training Workshop. This prestigious event took place at the JNICC on February 21st and 22nd, 2024. The workshop brought together top association executives from Tanzania for an intensive learning experience.
