First Annual Africa Association Summit Announced

The African Society of Association Executives (AfSAE) is pleased to announce the first annual Africa Association Summit to be had in Nairobi, Kenya 21-23 October 2019. AfSAE is also announcing the Kenyatta International Convention Center (KICC) as the "Presenting Partner" for the Summit. "This is a major step forward for AfSAE, African association executives and leaders," said Jeffers Miruka, AfSAE President and Executive Director for the African Association of Agricultural Economists. 

The event will feature keynote speakers, workshops, panels and submissions from associations across Africa on their success. The program topics will be based on research that AfSAE has conducted among African association executives on what they are wrestling with and want more information on. Topics include governance, financial sustainability, marketing and communications, new revenue streams, among others. Resources and solutions will be shared from across Africa and other global sources of association education. 

In addition, suppliers in the association and not-for-profit field will be welcome to participate in an exhibition "Solution Centre" and in the education program itself to learn and understand the issues that associations are dealing with across Africa. 

This event will showcase the unique and authentic cultures in Kenya, social events and "Brain Dates" with leaders in the field of association and business event management. More information on the program and registration will be available on the www.afsae.org website.
